supported by the foreign intelligence program of hebei province, prof. yuji matsue, the first person on rice flavor research in japan, was invited to the institute of coastal agriculture for academic exchange from october 12 to 14.
prof. yuji matsue gave a presentation entitled “five principle for producing highly palatable rice”. he explained in detail the factors influencing the production of high quality rice such as cultivation, temperature, moisture, fertilization, harvest and storage. then, prof. yuji matsue visited the laboratory for rice quality analysis and the experimental base, exchanged views with scientists on research and field management techniques. he also visited liangniu agriculture co. ltd of hebei, aidong agriculture co. ltd of tangshan and juxiang rice planting professional cooperative, and provided technical guidance for these units on the production of high quality rice.
staff involving in rice research of the institute of coastal agriculture, enterprise leaders of rice processing, principals of rice planting professional cooperative and rice growers, all about 30 people attended the activity.
